With almost 200,000 acres of arid forests and mangrove swamps, Bali Barat (West Bali) National Park is a valuable natural treasure. The park is home to several very rare species; foremost is the Bali starling, the island's mascot. Also known as Rothschild's mynah, this soft, white bird has a blue band around its eyes; the world's last 50 or so of these winged creatures are here, and an on-site breeding program is trying to save the species. Less rare but still of interest are several species of deer including the mouse deer and the barking deer and several types of monkeys, leopards, and civets. Depart from your hotel in the morning towards the western side of Bali, following the main road in the Gilimanuk direction passing through Tabanan Regency.First morning stop at Rambutsiwi Hindu Temple is on a cliff overlooking a breathtaking panorama of paddy fields on one side and the black sandy beach on the other. The temple itself was built by Dang Hyang Nirartha. According to the legend, he made a gift of his hair to the temple. Hence the name Rambut Siwi, which literally means "Hair Worship"!. Next stop is at Medewi beach, an area of rugged natural beauty renowned for its superb surfing on high, long rolling waves. While enjoy people surfing we have a tea or coffee break before we stop for lunch (is optional) at Bali Tower Restaurants at menjangan Jungle and beach resort is a part of west Bali National park. On the way Back to Hotel we will pass Munduk Village over looking to Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan.
