Sukawati

A wide collection of artwork with reasonable prices can be found on the art market of Sukawati. The new art market and a traditional market on the main road and side streets. A large assortment of woven baskets can be found here along with Balinese ceremonial items made from colorful gold painted cloth.

These include umbrellas, dance costumes, fans and clothes worn at tooth filings ceremony and weddings. A large assortment of woven baskets and wooden handicraft are also sold here.


ALAS KEDATON 
One of the most famous monkey forest. It's one of the place in Bali where monkeys exist, free and peaceful. These hundreds of monkeys are a real appeal for the tourists.

The monkeys living here are considered sacred, an association from the Ramayana epic, wherein Prince Rama allied himself with the monkey hero Hanoman to attack Alengka.

AMALAPURA

The principality of the Karangasem district, located about 2 hours from Kuta. Magnificent old puri (castle) belonging to the still extensive Karangasem royal family can be found in the center of the town.

Don't let the opportunity to visit the graceful Puri Kanginan, the only castle open for public. Puri Kanginan is the base of the ruling branch of the dynasty since the beginning of 18th Century.

The stunning Waterpalace of Ujung, well known amongst locals and foreign visitor, located just a few kilometers from Amlapura offers the unforgettable and fond memory of Bali.

AMED

A perfect resort town that will bring back the memory of Kuta. Completed with simple tourist supporting facilities such as Losmen, small hotels and amateur entertainment, Amed is a popular site for snorkeling.

Amed has excellent snorkeling spot just off the black sand beach and further out in the bay is a coral wall with abundant sponges and hard and soft corals. Plenty of fish varieties could be found in this area, such as Black Snapper, Triggerfish, Cardinalfish, etc.

BANGLI

The regency of Bangli covers two distinct geographical areas, the volcanic uplands of the Batur and Kintamani area, stretching down towards the sea near Tianyar and Tejakula, and the upper part of the rice growing area of southern Bali, overlooking Gianyar and Klungkung.

Geographically, Bangli is home to the mountain lakes and water sources that make Bali so fertile. Numerous villages are scattered across a landscape of rice terraces, lush valleys and forests. This mountainous region is a strikingly different site of Bali Aga traditional communities.

Bangli was the capital city of Gelgel dynasty kingdom. The largest and most sanctified temple of the district is Pura Kehen, a mountain haven and state temple of Bangli.

As the state temple of the Bali Kingdom, Pura Kehen occupies the site of an earlier temple, which dates back to the 9th Century. It owes much of its appeal to its unique ambience, set majestically on a number of level against the background of a hill forest, large trees shade the shrines and gates of its courtyards.

A flight of 38 stairs leads to the meru-shaped gate between rows of wayang statues. Overlooking the gate is the threatening head of Kala, guardian of the netherworld. There is a magnificent shrine with eleven roofs dedicated to the God of Fire, the resident temple God. 

JUNGUT BATU

Located in Lembongan Island, the tourist attraction offers white sandy beach for surfers and divers with simple accommodation facilities.

The friendly people of Lembongan have welcomed tourism. For those looking for white sandy beaches and a laid-back atmosphere, Nusa Lembongan is paradise.

The waters around Lembongan are crystal clear, the sand is white and the shallow coves are brimming with colorful coral and sea life, making it and ideal location for snorkeling.

KAMASAN

One of the most famous art centers in Bali offering typical traditional paintings, gold, silver and brass works. Home to traditional Balinese Kamasan paintings where a line drawing is made in black ink by a master artist and colored in with natural pigments.

Eggs, banners, paintings, bags, hats and many other goods decorated with Kamasan painting are available here. The Kertagosa (Hall of Justice) at Klungkung features some impressive displays of Kamasan style paintings.

CANGGU

It is worth traveling on the main road that follows the western coast up towards Gianyar in the north for the scenery alone, but these drives can also lead to some beautiful uncrowded surfing condition. Just out of town is Canggu, where some hillside villas here offer simple under stated comfort and make the most of the great ocean views and wonderful surfing opportunities.

The mix of temperate whether and tropical water makes Canggu a surfing wonderland. Many people have been attracted to Canggu because of the great surfing it has to offer, and it is now one of the top surfing destinations in Bali.
